Wine Tasting

Enjoy samplings from our award-winning wine list with your group. Can be customized to your group size.


Located right on the Fox River, we have a treat for fishing enthusiasts!  John Wilkins, has won 3 world championships in fishing tournaments including Portugal & Belgium.  He partners with our groups in teaching them anything from beginner level to ESPN British course fishing.

Bicycle Rental / Pizza Making

Rent bicycles across from the hotel at Mill Race Cyclery and hit the Fox River Trail north for St. Charles!  Our friends at a neighboring St. Charles pizzeria will open their restaurant privately for your group and everyone will enjoy their own pizza creations along with a wine tasting, and education from the owners on the olive oil and wine from the Naples region in Italy.  Delicious with a side of exercise!

Galena Garlic

Our friends at the Galena Garlic Company have a wonderful shop just up the street where your inner chef can come out and play! This shop is a wonderland of balsamic vinegars, olive oils, sea salts, and spice rubs that everyone enjoys. Laszlo the owner will share his expert knowledge of olive oils from around the world, which balsamics they combine with to create truly unique dishes.

Chocolate 101

Our neighbor up the street is the finest chocolatier we know. At All Chocolate Kitchen, everyone has a seat in the private room and let the famed, acclaimed, and charismatic Chef Alain Roby show off his talents and teach you the real truth about chocolate. Almost everything in the store is created from hand carving chocolate or blown sugar. Enjoy samples and an experience that you will not soon forget.

Professional fashion presentation

Geneva’s very own Jane Pabon Boutique will give a fashion presentation and
consultation for the group. This is an excellent activity for those interested in
professional dress, and how to get the most out of your wardrobe.

Professional Fishing Instruction

John Wilkins has won 3 world championships in fishing tournaments including Portugal & Belgium.  He is available to our groups for prearranged instruction for groups on many types of fishing that can be done on the river right in front of the hotel.   John is available to
give instruction to those at the beginner level to pros:


Get your heart’s pumping with the sun rise taking a fitness class with our recommended
Pilates & Yoga instructors from Fox Valley Pilates.   We also have a private, certified instructor available to come in for instruction for your entire group.

Cougars Game

Catch a ball game at our hometown stadium and cheer the Kane County Cougars to victory. This is great for group outings during the Spring and Summer months. Located only two miles from the hotel.

Vargos Dance Studio

Enjoy a dance lesson with the great instructors of Vargos Dance Studio. They offer dance
lessons for individuals or for groups. They can teach you anything from the Foxtrot to


Our indoor/outdoor amusement park, Funway is located in Batavia, offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages.  Activities include bowling, bumper boats, go carts, batting cages, and more.

Fox Valley Ice Arena

The Fox Valley Ice Arena is only two miles from the hotel. The arena offers two rinks,
sporting goods store, and Chelios Pub & Grill. Have their staff teach you how to play
hockey or just enjoy a peaceful skate around the rink.

Work with a nonprofit

Get involved with the local community here in the Chicago suburbs. The Northern
Illinois Food Bank and Feed My Starving Children are in local proximity to the hotel.

The Chilled Palette

Take your group downtown Geneva to The Chilled Palette. Have their instructors provide step-by-step instructions to create their very own paintings! All supplies are included and beverages are available to purchase.

Historic Bike Tours

Enjoy a seven-mile guided bike tour of Geneva including trails along the scenic
Fox River, Fabyan Forest Preserve and historic downtown. Start and end at Mill Race Cyclery with several stops to share stories, including a visit to the Geneva History Museum. Tour takes about an hour and a half.
